Handcrafted Ceramic Vase – One of a Kind

A sculptural ceramic vase handcrafted as an independent piece and created during the period of April–May 2025. Defined by an expansive, grounded presence, the surface features a deep matte black finish with a richly textured, lava-like skin that reveals subtle variations under changing light.

The form is generous and compact, characterized by a swollen central volume resting on a narrow base and topped with a restrained, minimal opening. The proportions emphasize weight, balance, and containment, evoking a sense of quiet strength and permanence. More than a functional object, the piece stands as a contemporary sculptural form exploring mass and density.

Designed to be displayed as an art object, this vase is well suited to modern, minimalist, brutalist, or wabi-sabi–inspired interiors, where materiality and form are central to the space.
