Margine

COLLECTION

Margine is a collection of handmade ceramic objects.
It originates from working with limits: of gesture, of form, of material.
Each piece occupies a non-central, irregular space, never fully resolved.

Concept.

The margin as a place

The collection develops through work on the limits of gesture, form, and material.
The margin is understood as an edge, a threshold, a secondary zone that becomes necessary: an unstable, open space, never fully defined.

Each piece occupies a non-central, irregular position, deliberately unresolved. Form does not seek a final solution, but maintains a constant tension between balance and deviation.

Formal and material language

Vessels, lamps, and surfaces share a common language.
Neutral colors, matte finishes, and visible traces of the making process reveal a direct relationship between hand and material. The ceramic surface is not smoothed into disappearance, but allowed to speak through marks, imperfections, and variations.

The Objects. Quiet presences in space

The objects of Margine are conceived to inhabit space without dominating it.
They exist as discreet presences, engaging in dialogue with their surroundings and with those who move through them, occupying a lateral yet active position.

Custom-made ceramic pieces

Each commission begins with a dialogue: form, function, and everyday use.
